Question about Blue Revo 3 Wheel Electric Scooter

1 Answer

I have a 2005 Pride Mobility Revo Scooter. It has flash codes on it and none of them are flashing. I have had the batteries checked and they are in good condition. My problem is that when the scooter is running at full speed, it will slow down and then after a few seconds it will speed up and will continue to run normal for another 30 seconds and then it will slow down again. It is like it is surging. Have you got a suggestion as to what the problem is? Thanks, Art

Why won't my pride legend start?

The legend has a Curtis controller. The flash codes you provided points the problem to a faulty throttle pot. If a new throttle does not fix the issue, then your problem is the controller itself.

The blinking is a flash code, maybe you should check the free wheel lever is in the drive position."hard to manually push"

NO DRIVE ON MY PRIDE REVO MOBILITY SCOOTER

You can try to do this with the cover off, just in case it is not seated properly and holding the lever from fully engaging. The actual swithc is a small microswitch down at the brake, and it can get dirt in it and that will stop it from working, or it may even fail, and need to be replaced. So I would:
1) try it woth the shroud off the motor using.
2) look for dirt around the switch.
3) take a paperclip and jump the scooter side of the switch to bypass the microswitch on the scooter, be careful not to short the jumper to the scooter frame.

Let me know how you make out.

Hi, I take it been taken then, do you get a error codes ?

see below

DIAGNOSTIC FLASH CODES
The diagnostic flash codes for your scooter are designed to help you perform basic troubleshooting quickly and
easily. A diagnostic flash code will flash from the status LED in the event one of the conditions listed below
develops.
NOTE: Your scooter will not run unless the flash code condition is resolved and the scooter has been
turned off, then turned back on.
Any electromechanical device occasionally requires some troubleshooting. However, most of the problems that
may arise can usually be solved with a bit of thought and common sense. Many of these problems occur because
the batteries are not fully charged or because the batteries are worn down and can no longer hold a charge.

Turn the scooter off for a few minutes,
then turn your scooter back on.
