Only one input works (component1) but no sound. the speakers are on, and when the volume is turned all the way up you here noise. input or no

make sure whatever you are hooking up to the input has a good output. Meaning....if you are hooking up a dvd player and it is playing a disc, make sure it has audio out of the dvd player usually the red for right channel and white for left channel. Also make sure in the menu on the dvd player you have analog audio selected so as to have sound coming thur to the tv. Keep in mind another way to check the audio of the tv is to use a mp3 player or your iphone.. Just need 1/8" jack from iphone to red and white RCA male jacks to hook to tv to test. Hope this gets you closer to solving your problem.

Can you give any advice or suggestions? I have a 65" Mitsubushi WS-65311 and the problem I am having is with the picture and sound on different inputs. I have tested the Cable ANT-A, Composite, and...

either you have a nasty circuit problem or you may need to try to do a factory reset to the set to see if it helps; this set like most Mitsubishi projection sets has a option in a hidden menu to reset the set back to the condition it was in the box when new---it may or may not help your problem--only way to know is to try; after reset is done set will come on on channel 3 in the Air band--if it works you need to go into the menu and put it into the cable band and auto program it----and any labels you have placed on the video inputs(ie--DVD etc will be gone and show video 1 etc) If you want to try this email me with the model number I will will give you instructions: etower.766@netzero.net

Mitsubishi 65809 65 in Blue color and center screen fuzziness

Projection TV's use a cooling fluid around each of the 3 CRT's that the light has to shine through. Over time, it will grow a bacteria in the fluid (just like sunshine on the ocean) and turn cloudy. The blue CRT is most subject to this. You need to have the fluid replaced, which can be a messy job better done by a pro, but many have done it themselves. If you are interested, I'll go into the details.
Might want to replace the convergence amps while your at it.
Hope Ya Fix It!
