Have you tried resetting it, there is usually a little pin you can push , if not fully drain the battery and turn it on

Static noise coming from headset. The headset has been making this noise for 3 or more days.

Most headphones (wireless) have a tuning wheel that allows you to find your headphone channel pair to base set. It sounds that while checking your foam ear piece you may have moved this dial / wheel. After locating (probably near volume) the control for tune, place headphones on and slowly move control for tuning. You should hear something move control to strongest signal.
your base also has settings switch for channel helpful if you have more then one pair in house, on different TV. Play with both to find best volume.

2004 gmc 1500 sierra heater control stuck on

Defrost is the default position. Is the control a autyomatic temperture control unit? ( you set the temp and select automatic) if it is the system is completely electronic. You push the buttons and the control still says defrost or can you select something else and the control shows it but it just keeps coming out the defrost? If the control changes and the air comes out the defrost anyway and the cheack engine light isn't on, then the problem can be blown fuses or an air door actoater not working. Does the dash emit a clicking sound? if it does with the covers off the bottom of the dash reach around touching the different pieces till you touch the idem that is clicking. this is an acutor motor, or blend door motor. they have gears in them that wear out and break the motors aren't repairable and you just replace the ofending motor. the door that is moves can be stuck. and may have to be freed up with blaster, WD40, or other rust buster till it moves easy. maybe after getting the door to move smoothly you can get the old motor to move the door wiithout having to install a new one.

Sounds like a fan hitting something on the freezer side

If it sounds like that then most likely the fan has shaft play or something is touching the fan that has moved around. I think we better locate that and repair. Losing a fan is not healthy for a refrigerator compressor. Let me know, Sea Breeze

The cursor jumps around on my E-105-S1402, suddenly moving to an entirely different place on the screen or moving back in a typed line so what I'm typing suddenly is inserted in a previuosly typed...

Yes.
Most probably, you are involuntarily very lightly touching the surface of your touchpad with the base of your (usually right) thumb.
Some touchpad drivers have special settings to ignore very light strokes to avoid this effect - try your pointing device settings in the control panel.
If yours doesn't, you just have to remember to keep your hands at such an angle as to avoid contact with the touchpad. A soft wristrest may help, as it elevates your wrists a bit; gel-type wrist support is my favorite.
Good luck :)
