I'm also having this problem as well, it has to do with the OS and it is corrupted. It seems like the "Game mode" has been corrupted preventing us from playing games on the hard drive or reading games.
Its most likely something to do with your Blu-ray lasor. Try cleaning the lasor with a Cd/DVD cleaner found in most electrical stores. To play Blu-ray cds and games the lasor is required to work with full presistion, dust or dirt on the lasor can effect the lasors capacity to function properly. If nothing changes, contact the Sony helpline and they will help you through the processes of what to do.
hey mate, if its to play copied cds or dvds in the ps1 or 2 u need either to have the playstation chipped or you can get boot cds that you put in first then put the backed up copy in to play.
