Question about Frigidaire GLEQ2152ES Electric Dryer
I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery Series electric Washer/Dryer Combo 4 months ago. The dryer model # is GLEQ2152ES1. When I turn the dryer on, I hear a wire scraping sound coming from the drum. When I look through the glass fron loading door, I can see electrical sparks in the back of the drum. Could this be the electrical heater coil broken or what?
Probably the rear bearing has failed and caused the drum to rub against the heating element. Hey, is this the guy that said he heard a noise last month? LOL

Hello - Since you have previously replaced the control board and confirmed that the high temp sensor is working fine, unit may possibly have a defective sensor, heating element, power supply or a communication problem with the control board. I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately. The technician usually warranties their labor just in case something else may turn out to be the root cause of your initial problem.
