Question about Sony VAIO PCG-TR3AP1 Notebook
I have the above lap top and it seemed to be working fine yesterday and I have had no issues. Now it will not turn on. No nothing. The DC power adapter has the green light glowing and cord, adapter and connection seem fine. I tried removing the batteries etc. and try it again and nothing.
Is the power on/off switch just broken? Is there something I can do or try besides taking it to a repair facility? It is not under warranty. It is three + years old.
Any advice is appreciated.
Press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and then press the power button again. If your notebook is set to standby or hiberbate it may have lock up the computer. Hope this hepls

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
