Display Configuration A flickering screen may be caused by the computer detecting incorrect display settings as it starts or returns from sleep. It can also come from changes to the screen resolution settings caused by a new program or update installation. Verify screen resolution before assuming the issue is hardware related. Faulty Inverter Next to the display screen behind the plastic screen bezel is a small component called the inverter, which supplies power to the screen backlight. The flickering indicates the power is not reaching the backlight. To fix the issue, replace the inverter. Faulty Connectors The wires and cables traveling from the display around the hinges and into the motherboard tend to wear at the hinge area. Over time, the opening and closing of the screen causes this wear. The solution is to disassemble the plastic casing of the laptop, reorganize the cables so they have no interference from hinges, or replace the cables and connectors with new ones made specifically for the computer make and model experiencing the issue.

Shaky screen iphone

Hi Mike,

If your screen is shaky on your iPhone, this is probably due to a failed LCD. I recommend checking into getting it repaired with a replacement screen. PhoneDoctors.com is a good place to start. They are very reliable. :)

Computer display jumbled and unreadable

From what you describe, I'd suspect the Graphics processor, or even the motherboard as a source of the problem if the monitor works on a different system normally (Best way to check the monitor is a known good video source)

If it is the system, and the system is 8 years old, I'd recommend replacing the system rather than attempting to fix it. Trying to fix GOOD parts for an obsolete system is difficult at bst and oftern can be expensive. Often you can find a low end NEW system (One that is like 20 times faster than the failing system) for less than $300

Shaky Picture only during Advertisement or... Mitsubishi SC 27403

If you have cable then put the cable wire directly in the TV, bypassing the cable box. If the pix is Ok it proves that the problem is the cable box. If the problem is still there then it proves the the TV needs parts inside.
