Re: Blue screen shows up
Usually points to the hard drive. try running the hard drive diagnostics on your Dell computer. Shut down the computer, then press and hold down the FN key, then press the Power button, afterwards, release both buttons. That should load the diagnostics for your Dell laptop. Note any error code that you may find.
Try booting in Safe Mode. If it works, chances are, it is related to a device driver

If the pc doesn't have a BIOS password then:
1.- look at the error messages on the blue screen,
2.- the blue screen shows errors when a driver is bad or not the right one for the hardware or the OS is corrupted.
3.- try to boot using safe mode.
4.- after the logo and right after it shows the F2/F10/F12 key start tapping the F8 continuosly. If your here a beep stop tapping.
Just boot in safe mode or Last Good configuration and then go to windows START button there take MY COMPUTER>>ADVANCED>>START UP AND RECOVERY>> Disable memory dump here .Your blue screen problem will be solved
oh k.. so u mean whenever u start ur computer or whenever u work on it, it shows Blue screen... This blue screen is called BSOD Error (Blue Screen Of Death) It occurs due to several reasons but since u specified abt memory, this might be showing you Kernal Memory Dump, i hope.. Dont need to panic, try to start up computer in safe mode & restore it to previous known date at which u didn't had that problem.. It generally occurs after installing some new softwares or drivers that conflicts with the memory module.. so try to restore ur system else try removing ur newly installed software or driver... Hope this helped u out.. Thanks....
The blue screen that you see is what they call "the blue screen of death". The error that you have is Unmountable Boot Volume. This is caused by the operating system not being to load due to hard drive errors. This happens due to the computer being shutdown improperly or hard drive problem. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer so they can try and restore the computer without formatting or changing the hard drive.
