You didn't mention the treadmill model but most treadmills will have a diagnostic code appear if this type of thing happens. If you are not standing on the treadmill does the belt move just a little?
My guess is if you do not have an error code then the belt may be trying to move and is either obstructed or loose. If you are getting a code then there is usually a belt (like a timing belt) that goes from the motor to the drive roller and it is probably broken or has just popped off. You'll need to remove the cover to see this - CAUTION - unplug the treadmill if you are going to remove the cover!

I HAVE A NORDICTRACK C1900 THAT TURNS ON AND HAS BUT THE BELT WILL NOT MOVE/START WHEN IT IS PROGRAMMED

You may have to call a technician. The motor that drives the belt could be shot. Also, a simple test can be done to see if it is a capacitor: Try making the belt turn by moving your feet and see if the motor "kicks in" and moves the belt by itself. If so, it is the starting capacitor, something to save a repair person some time, but probably will not reduce the cost of the service call...

Are there any repair companies available. My treadmill comes on and the panel come on and moves but the belt does not move anymore. I would like it repaired.

Unplug and remove motor cover. Try moving the motor and small belt. Tighten belt a bit. Plug in and Push start. If it fails to start check the carbon brushes of motor for wear/ replace. Try all same again. If it fails to start motor could be burned out.

Acd3 treadmill belt wont move

hi There.
A treadmill belt can shift to the right or left over time. If it shifts enough, this may cause the belt to stop moving. Stand at the back end of your machine and inspect the belt. If it has shifted, you will need to center it by turning the rear roller adjustment bolts. These bolts adjust both the tension and the centering of the belt. Follow the instructions in your owner's manual that explain which of the two bolts you need to tighten or loosen to shift the belt back to the center.
If the belt is too tight, it could cause enough tension that the motor can't turn the belt. This is most likely the cause of your belt not moving if you recently adjusted the belt tension due to slippage. Lift the edge of the belt. If you can't raise it at least 2 to 3 inches off the walking deck, the belt is too tight. Follow the directions in your owner's manual for loosening the belt. You will need an Allen wrench to loosen the rear roller adjustment bolts.
If the troubleshooting does not get the belt running again, you may have a tight motor belt or a bad motor. You will need to remove the motor hood to access these parts of your machine. If your treadmill is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer for a professional repair. You may void the warranty if you attempt to work on the motor yourself.

I have a HP DJ 1050c, the check Printhead path (2) comes on, but there is nothing blocking, and when I try to move the assembly, it is very rigid, when running the self test, the assembly moves back and...

you need to replace the belt assembly. the jerking motion is caused by the build up of debris on the teeth of the drive motor. drive motor on the right side, belt and tensioner on left side. this is a difficult repair and it is getting harder to find the parts. if you can find a certified repair person, let them do the repair. should cost you $300-400. if they are worth a dime it should take less than two hours to perform this repair. make sure they clean the drive motor, replace the belt, clean the printer, lubricate the rail assembly. let me know if this helps.
