Question about Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 for PC
I came to Az., and am hooked up to cox. net carrier, and I am not able to send emails. ( I am able to receive them. I live in Ill and have Mediacom, for my wireless computor. does the cox connection have to be different, or do I need an linksys modem like I used back home. I'm only hear for 6 weeks so I don't want to do any drastic moves.
You will have to change your outgoing mail (SMTP) in Outlook/Express or whatever email client you use to (Cox).
For Arizona it should be:
Cox West outgoing mail server: smtp.west.cox.net
Your current setting is probably:
Or try checking "My Outgoing Server Requires Authorization". Then you should be able to keep you current setting.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
