You will have to change your outgoing mail (SMTP) in Outlook/Express or whatever email client you use to (Cox).

For Arizona it should be:
Cox West outgoing mail server: smtp.west.cox.net

Your current setting is probably:
mail.mchsi.com

Or try checking "My Outgoing Server Requires Authorization". Then you should be able to keep you current setting.

Want to change password on email in windows live

Hi Abbie. You need to change your password with your email provider. If you have a Hotmail, Live, Outlook password, you need to change it through Microsoft - just try to log in and click 'forgotten password' and follow the instructions. The same if its a 'google mail, or gmail;, you need to do it through Google. You don't say if you are using Windows Live MAIL, if so its pretty straight forward to change the password, but please respond and ill talk you though it. Hope this helps

My email was changed from sbcglobal.net to att.net and in the process I lost 185 messages from that address. I used to have sbc as my internet carrier. My email was through sbcglobal.net When we moved I...

Hi,
When a person is using the ISP (Internet Service Provider) for the e-mail, and that provider is changed, the e-mail goes with the provider. One cannot have a sbc e-mail account without sbc being the carrier.
One could contact sbc to find out if they could forward those unread messages to the ATT e-mail account.
Hot mail from Microsoft or G mail from google are supported by the Internet Browser, so those accounts will transfer from any different ISP.

It sounds like your charter account is configured to forward all of your email to gmail. If you cannot change this yourself, contact charter and ask them to remove the forwarding rule.

Good luck

Cancel and delete the emails.

The chances are that you have exceeded the size that your mailbox can handle.

open one of the images and reduce its size using either Microsoft paint or some other graphics program.

Also don't try to send too many at once

Hope this was of help

Can't send email to sbcglobal.net address

AddressGuard is another powerful line of defense against spam:
  • Create disposable email addresses in a snap
  • Give them out when you don't want to give out your primary Yahoo! Mail address
  • Have messages delivered to your Inbox or a personal folder
  • Simply delete them if they start receiving spam
If the email receipiant has reported you as spam that is why you can't get through

you will have to call the receipiant and ask them to remove you from their spam list
