SOURCE: How do I connect my Laptop computer to my LCD TV?

Every laptop has at least a VGA (computer video connection) and s-video cable port. A VGA cable is preferred if you want to be able to read text on your LCD TV. Check to make sure that your LCD TV has a VGA connector. It's a port that accepts a 15-pin connection so it's pretty easy to spot if it's there. It's just like a computer monitor cable if that helps. Should be able to find it at any local retail store that carries computers. VGA or RGB cable.

SOURCE: connecting laptop to tv

1. If your tv has a PC input, use a vga cable, from any normal computer monitor.

2. If you use those HD connectors, match them to the correct colour coded inputs on the tv.

In each case, do all the connecting with the computer POWERED OFF. Then when connected, boot the computer, and allow Windows to auto-detect the 'new monitor', as it will 'see' it.

Then you shoud right click on your desktop, choose properties, and goto 'settings'. From there you will see monitors 1 and 2. click on the new monitor and 'enable' it.

You also have the option of 'extending' windows to the second monitor, as well as making this your 'default monitor'. Experiment to see what best suits your needs,

Erik.

SOURCE: what is the best way for me to connect my toshiba

Depends on the available connections on the laptop.

You can use the basic monitor out (usually blue) for picture and an mp3 - rca cable for the sound.

Also a white digital out is sometimes present on laptops which can be also used.

There are many ways but as I said it depends on the laptop options.

But better still is hdmi for both if your laptop has it.

SOURCE: How do we connect our

It depends on what sort of television you have and the connections that it has available. The easiest way is to get a VGA cable like the one in the image below if your TV has a VGA input connection.

mariolands_13.jpg If your TV doesn't have a VGA connection, you need to get a VGA to RCA adapter like in the image below. Majority of the TVs have a RCA input connection, so if your has one you need to get this adapter and an RCA cable.

The Samsung LN40B540P8F I would rate a 9. Only God is 10.

All the DLP sets, you can throw out

All the Older Projection sets you can throw out

I would take the rest for scrap parts.

I hope this is helpful.
