my g1 is displaying a triangle with a exclamation point. Even if I reboot the image keep appearing

- Same exact problem here. Blue light then after taking the battery out and putting it back in, flashing red light. My son read somewhere that the menu button and the mouse button were apparently both pushed dn at the same time for a short period of time causing it to lock up. - same thing happened to me, the battery still seemed ok, since the icon still showed a fully charged battery. it just shut down out of the blue, and when i try to turn it back on, it flashes a red light at the top side. - hishamhamadBest Solution

well plug the charger into the phone with the battery still intact.....then remove the battery while the phone is still plugged in. then unplug the charger and plug it back in........place battery back into phone and then power it up. That worked for me.

If you turn the phone on whilst holding the trackball down, then the blue light will come on and the screen remain dark. If this is happening all the time I assume the button is wedged down or wet causing it to short.

HAVE A G1 and my daugthter slobbered on it and after a while only the blue light shows with no screen. Can anyone help me before i decide to buy a new one? Get at me quick.
