Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
My washer works in every other way, fills, drains, spins, but does not agitate. It tries to, and when I touch the agitator I can feel the force of it trying to go. It even makes the agitating sound. Any suggestions? How much is this going to cost me?
Probably just a broken belt!
Open it up and see!
Replacing can be a pain but belt cost is probably under $20 at appliance parts store near you in Phone Book.
Replacing is just removing nuts & bolts and moving brackets
Before you take it apart look carefully at where the new belt will go!
If you have someone do it for you it should cost a lot less if you know it's the belt & you have it all apart!
I have to go to my regular job now but if you need detailed instructions you may want to go for FixYas' Guaranteed Solution!
