Question about Konica Minolta magicolor 2300DL Laser Printer

My Konica 2300DL is showing an error that reads AIDC Error and I cannot print anything

I did clean the laser lens cover; however, I could not find the AIDC calibration cycle on P 81-82 in the manual I found online. I did restart the machine and unfortunately, I have the same AIDC error.

    Thanks

This all started when I had a label come off a page of labels I was printing. I still have not found the label and I have practically disassembled the machine! I don't know where that little ****** went.... Afterwards, I printed a page and there was a smear on the page, the next page I was going to print, the AIDC sensor light came on and it hasn't worked since! When I turn power on, it will go through the cycles then say AIDC sensor error and it stops.

    Thanks

Our 2300DL is leaving streaks when printing

Out of one or more toners. If you have removed and replaced a cartridge in error the % remaining is reset to 100%. Try to determine which color is missing in your print out (usually black), and then follow menu instructions to replace that cartridge. The ends are color coded so be sure you change the correct one. This will insure the remaining cartridges % remaining is correct.

My magicolor 2300dl printer is showing waster toner box full and won't print but the waste toner box is empty and new. Is there a reset button on the printer to bypass this error?

1. Empty the waste box.

2. Read p66 of http://printer.konicaminolta.com/service/ASP/mc2300/documentation_manuals/mc2300SM.pdf

3. Identify the "Waste Toner Full Detecting Sensor" which tries to pass a light beam through the protruding plastic slot on the waste box that engages with the photocell.

4. Use a dry cloth to clean dust off the photocell transmitter and receiver and also off the protruding plastic slot, so that light will now pass through.

5. Refit the waste box and enjoy the $$ saving.

When an “AIDC Error” occurs, do this:
1. Replace the Image Transfer Belt
2. Check to see if the AIDC Sensor is dirty
3. Securely connect the connectors to the High Voltage Unit

Error light and no printing

What does the status monitor message say? The red light is the most general error. It's bit like taking a 747 back to Boeing and saying there is something wrong with it.

If you do not have the status monitor installed, download it from Konica Minolta and run it. Once the status monitor is running it will read the error from the printer.
