Question about Refrigerators
I have replaced the bulb.....
The light bulb you bought was an appliance bulb, correct? the bulb screws in like any other bulb but has to be screwed really tight because of humidity in the refrigerator so this may be one solution the second is ; does your door switch work? this could be bad. to check, turn off power gently pry out the door switch, you can use a thin screwdriver . check the wires to see if one is burnt. if you have a multi meter put setting on ohms and pressing or releasing you will find if the switch has continuity. tak the wires of the switch first making note of where they goput one lead on common and other lead on one of the other two terminals one of them will give you continuity when pressed the other when it is released.if you are not comfortable doing this call a repairman. most likely though you will find the bulb wasn't tightened enough
