Over flowing on water discharge

Hi there when my washing machine discharges water so it can go to the spin cycle it appears that it sends to much water out of the machine at one time causing it to overflow at the drain pipe in the wall and it overflows to the ground i have checked out the drain pipe with a hose and it appears to be ok and i believe when the machine is on a lighter load with less water i believe it is not as bad it is very bad on a full load what i do is i watch it and open the lid when the pipe fills up then i allow it to discharge again ans so on please let me know if there is a fix for this problem thank you rick fowzer 209 825 8585

Hi,
This is not a fault with your machine.
The problem lies aquarely with the outlet pipe in the building plumbing. Very often there is a gradual build-up of grease in this pipe somewhere before the pipe gets larger to the main drain.

The first solution is to use a solid or liquid drain cleaner in that pipe - and leave it to work at least overnight.
Then fill a bowl with very hot water and Soda Crystals - basic washing soda.
Flush the pipe with a full bowlfull of this hot water (may need a large mouthed funnel)
Also a hosepipe from the hot tap to a pipe in the outlet will work.

Once clear - you shouldn't have anymore problems.

If you wish, you can wrap a polythene bag around the machine outlet, then force this into the wall drain pipe - to make a better seal. It's not ideal, but may help with pipes that are slow to drain.

I "pinched" the drain hose restricting water outflow using a $2.50 C clamp. I adjusted the flow to meet what the drain could handle.

TROUBLESHOOT TIPS

I don't know where you have your washing machine but can't you just put the drain hose in the tub, or toilet to see if it drains? if either of those aren't close enough to dump discharge water into from your spin cycle, you may be able to add a short piece of clear tubing at the end of the existing hose using whatever connector you need to use, then put the hose back into your drain. This way you should be able to see if the pump is working. You can usually hear/feel water being discharged out of the discharge hose but I don't know what your situation is.

We have a Kenmore 3.5 Super Capacity Quiet Tumble Action Wash Easy Access. The spin cycle works however the water won't drain and our laundry is soaked. Help...

It could be either the pump or a clog in the discharge hose. Take a shop vac and attach it to the discharge hose to remove the water from the machine. Remove the pump housing and run a wire down the discharge hose to check for a clog. If there is no obstructions, reattach the pump housing and remove the pump motor. Run a spin cycle and see if the pump motor turns.

My NEC NFL855 E3 error

E3 error is discharging water problem. ie 1.the pump not working (under bra wire will stop it spinning) or 2. the discharge hose blocked or most likely 3. the pump inlet hose from the drum is blocked (with small article of cloth or coins or similar).
To Fix:
1. Open the pump filter and check if spinning during empty/spin cycle, make sure nothing jamming or twisted around impellor.
2. Check discharge hose is not crushed or kinked.
3. Lay machine on its side, access pump and remove inlet hose assembly and remove any blockage.

Will not discharge water or go into spin cylcle.

I would have to guess you have a dead spot in the timer. If it stops moving, it would still tick like a clock but the internals of it are not catching to send it into discharge and spin.
