My MP470 scans best useing this method: click start, click all programs, take Canon utilities, take MP navigator EX and Mp navigator EX again, scan/import should be chosen, if not choose it, have your pic on the platen and click photos/document, on the next screen click scan, after scan make selection from screen, click save, make selection as to where you want to store your pic. Browse and choose "my pictures" if no other desire. good luck and have fun.
In most cases, you want to scan to file and save the file in a folder of your choice. I have a 7310 xi all in one and I have a folder on my desktop named scans. When I scan a pic or document I save it as a jpg (pic) file or a PDF (document) file to that folder. Then when I email someone, I attach the file using the attach button on the email page.
To scan a picture into your PC, just click on the Epson scan icon on your desktop (or from within your Start menu's). Place the picture to be scanned face down under the scanner lid and press the scan button. Don't forget to save your picture before exiting the scan utility. Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.
I have a Brother MFC-665CW. I need to scan pictures and send them to my email. When I press the 'send to email' button it finds my pc and says 'connecting to pc' then nothing happens.
HELP ME PLEASE! What am I doing wrong?
