I have an Acer 5610

I have an Acer 5610 laptop. After coming back from system resume, sometimes the LCD goes black for a few seconds. I hit the space bar and it comes back to life. Is there a fix or patch for this from Acer?

Go into your control panel and go into the power options. Somewhere there is a way to tell it when to turn off the monitor. You can change that to off and then you shouldn't run into that problem. Just make sure you save the changes once you actually make that change.
