Problem for Nikon COOLPIX S10 Digital Camera

I try to download pictures from my camera, and I go to Nikon Transfer (where you download the pictures). The manual says to click on the camera icon, but the icon keeps blinking and everytime I try to click on it, it never does anything. Help would be very mcuh appreciated.

If ur aim is to transfer pics from camera to pc then may be u should give mass storage option a try, simple and requires no cd.....in xp ur camera memory will be automatically detected.But for this the mass storage option should be selected in d camera. you'll find it here
In Menu=>Setup=>Interface=>USB, select mass storage.
connect to ur pc and ur done.
