Try these drivers:
http://downloads.guru3d.com/Realtek-HD-Audio-1.90_d1894.html
They should work with 2003 but it sometimes has weird compatibility between 2003 and XP but you should be fine.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have no sound device in computer

Hi there,

Most likely the driver for the sound device are not installed on your computer. If you have just reinstalled your operating system it might not have them by default.

Drivers are like instructions that tells your operating system how to use the hardware.

You can usually get them on the manufaturer website in the support section. Ex: if you have an HP go on the HP website.

If your computer is a clone then go on the Motherboard manufacturer website ex : Asus is a commun brand.

Good luck

Unable to get sound from mothrboard in windows vista any ideas!

Have you had sound out with vista yet?
Or, has it stopped?
if you have not had sound after a vista installation, pop over to HP and download them.
If you have any trouble, get back with the model number and as much info as possible

Hi Rajender,
You can download the required drivers from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=ca&lang=en&product=3876901&

Select your operating system on the page to download the required drivers. Your laptop only supports Windows Vista OS.
Hope this solves the problem. Thanks

HP had slow problem

Your restoration CD should be doing the full format for you. If not, and your operating system CD is the actual Windows CD (with the logo etc), then you can use that instead. Simply put the CD in and have the system boot with that. Once the CD loads, it will ask you whether you want to install Windows, or repair the current installation - ask it to install (NOT repair), then follow the on-screen prompts.
