Can not change interior lightbulb

How do you get to the Interior light bulb of a GE profile spacemaker XL1800. The insides are sealed and the light bulb has burnt out. How do you change the light bulb.

The bulb changing instructions are on page 35.
It basically says pull the bulbs straight out and replace with WB36x10213 halogen bulbs.

Crackling noise, like something is shorting out, came from GE Spacemaker XL1800 JVM1850WF001. I immediately turned it off but I don't know where to start to figure out the problem.
If the interior is dirty or the wave guide dirty or worn out it can cause this. The wave guide is on the interior and looks like a piece of stiff paper. Clean it carefully as it's delicate.

Check behind the grill on the front top of unit. you can remove it by takign out a few screws from the top. There may be an access door there, if not unit would have to be pulled down and the case taken apart.

There should be a panel covering the bulb iside the cookspace with a screw holding it on. Remove screw, cover then bulb.
