When you boot up next time tap the F8 key. This will bring you to a screen that gives you a bunch of boot up options. Choose the one that says use last known good configuration. this should solve your problem.

Step 1: Laptop computers can be wonderful devices, except when the need to troubleshoot arises. Acer laptops are no different. A quick way to fix many problems with an Acer laptop running Windows is to reset it to factory settings. Resetting your Acer laptop to factory settings can eliminate slow operation, registry problems, virus problems and spyware issues. What's more, a factory reset of your laptop may reduce the need for a full reinstallation of Windows.
Back up all necessary data to an external device such as a disk, flash drive or hard drive Make sure all programs are closed and shut down your Acer laptop. Detach any external hardware such as an external hard drive or printer. Press the Power button to boot your Acer laptop. Press "Alt-F10" on your keyboard when the Acer screen appears at the start of the boot-up process. Wait a moment while Windows loads the reset files. Select "Restore System from factory default" in the Acer eRecovery Management window. Click "Next" on the next screen to continue. Click "Next" on the following destination information window. This will pop up a notice telling you that resetting your Acer laptop will erase all data and restore the laptop to its original settings and configuration. Click "OK" in the notice window to proceed with resetting your Acer laptop. Wait while your Acer laptop is reset to factory settings.
press fn button and with up-arrow increase brightness ,,, in windows open display settings by right clicking on the desktop (intel or nvidia properties ) acer 4320 could have nvidia or intel ... increase the brightness and the contrast or load the default settings ,,, use external monitor if need ...
Hello chaleebradsh, the "Monitor" as well the Computer have "Power Saving Modes," [Sleep, ScreenSavers, and Hibernation]; so what you want to do is "Change the way the Computer / Monitor Sleeps!" From the Desktop Screen, click on the "Start Button," next in the [Start Search Window], type: power. In the next [window] that opens, you should see, from your point of view; a "list" in the (left column) "Change when the computer sleep, the wording may be different, but it will be clear enough. Now all you have to do is change the way the Computer and Monitor "Sleep, or Turn-off." If the Monitor have its own "settings;" just find them by the [button on the monitor], and do the same thing as above; but I'm sure the computer will take care of both. "I hope this information is of help; thanks for using FixYa, paul7of9"
you have to restore it, I'm sorry but I haven't done it so I'm not sure how exactly to do it. You might have shut it off when it wasn't supposed to be or something. I'm really sorry I wasn't a big help. But if you can find a way to restore it, the whole thing, then you will lose everything like downloaded games, music, add ons like java and adobe. Im so sorry though. That's all I can tell you.
Go to the acer website - acerpanam.com and download ALL available drivers and acer software for your laptop. If still no good, look in device manager for devices with exclamation marks on them and try to update drivers, or maybe try disabling exclamated devices to fix the errors. get the software first though.
