Question about Honda 8 HP Engine
I recently took the diesel engine off my mixer and fitted a 8HP honda engine to it. Unfortunatly although the engine is in very good condition the gearing needs to be altered. What do i require and where can I get it from. Regards Bill Porter
At an engine lower and higher rpm is because of the governor sensitivity sistem. An arm attaches to the shaft(inside the crankcase)with a clamp-bolt/nut.This arm are provided with a series of holes. To decrease sensitivity hook the spring into a hole lower than its original position. If needed you can make some extra adjustment holes.Hope this help you.
