it my be the throw out bearing going bad does it do this in all grars

It might work short term, but it sounds like the overdrive might almost be out of your truck.

The secod race is a DRAG in Harbour & Ocean.



1. Second event is a Drag race, which will require you to push additional button to shift gear up or down "check your controls for configuration" to avoid blown engine sticking on gear 1. as you can see while accelerating the speedometer rises before it reaches the red boundary shift gears up to avoid blown engine.

Another simple race. Be sure to avoid the truck that'll appear on your left (#1). You won't have much time to make a correct manoeuvre. Be sure to change lanes often. use Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII its handling is good on tight corners an also fast.

Check externally for the obvious things first like a bent shift lever or lever re-installed in a position interfering with frame or something preventing engagement into 1st gear. I'm never that lucky.
More than likely you have either bent a shifting fork or lost a tooth on a gear or something on the shift mechanism internally is bent, broken, or has lost a clip. Drain your oil and check the plug magnet to see if any metal shavings, fragments, or parts appear.
You will most likely have to pull the engine and split the case and replace parts. You can take it to a shop or if your handy do it your self. Take a look at the link to the parts fiche and determine your preference.

Same problem. I called Thrustmaster yesterday and they said that they're working with Nascar to fix the problem. They couldn't give me any guarantees that it would be fixed, though.

I too, am pedal-less; so here's how I do it: I assign the left paddle shifter to the brake pedal/reverse function, and the right paddle shifter to the accelerate/gas pedal function.Of course, if you are a racer who loves shifting gears with the paddles (and who doesn't?) you'll obviously have to make a choice. I, personally, have no problem with this trade-off. But here's the deal with Saitek: I used to have the R100 - which, if memory serves, did not sell with pedals - and it worked great as described above. However, because I was pretty hard on the gas, it didn't take long to break the gas paddle right off! I found the R440 wheel not long ago at Goodwill, but since it has the same plastic paddles - albeit, a bit larger and wider - I was reluctant to buy it. Although it lacked the pedals, as well as the part that secures it to the desk, it was only $9.00! Did I mention it didn't have a power supply, either? :O

Fortunately, I am able to snug it down on my desk with a pair of two-and-a-half inch "C" clamps. The power problem almost rendered it worthless, though; what with the force feedback and all. I had no idea at the time it was going to need so much juice. If I would've looked at the label.... Hey, nine bucks! Who bothers with labels! As luck would have it, I had an old Visiontek flatbed scanner, that bit the dust years ago, so I'm using the p.s. from it. 24v 18w. I am extremely careful, not to jam the right paddle the way I did with the R100. It's holding up remarkably well - and despite all it's missing stuff, it hasn't got a scratch on it and is precise as heck!

I dont have a solution for this problem, just to say that XBOX support offer no service to repair the wheel. My own wheel has suffered the same problem, and I have been advised to fix it myself. ... Thanks Microsoft...

this is because the 2 pedals are acting as buttons. so wen u press them then computer thinks ur pressing a button all way down instead of rotating an axis. you have to somehow find a way to tell computer that you have pedals and that the axis have to be callibrated in control panel. i have no idea how this is done though.

Check to see if there is an updated driver / software package on Microsoft's support site.

If that doesn't work or you get the same results it's time for a new one.
