Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
My xbox finds a wired connection but when it tests for an ip address it says failed what is the problem? i use the same cable to go on internet on my lap top so i have to chop and change as and when i play on my xbox 360
It may be that the modem/router has to be reset everytime you change devices.
This is because the modem only recognises the devices that are first attatched to it. It will connect t the modem, but it will not get internet until you reset it.
I have the same problem with mine, can be a nuisance but it's the only way it will work.
Hope this helps,
Ps, you should have got a PS3.... =)
