Advent wireless mouse wont work

We have a new Advent ADE-EMB1 mouse but no instruction manual. As we are complete technophobes we cant get it working!!!! I've got the bit plugged intot he front of the PC and it is glowing blue but I cant get the actual mouse to respond to it.

Any suggestions? The driver is installed (or so it says). Do we need a battery for the mouse? Help please!

Does an advent ade-emb1 usb mouse require batteries in the mouse? i was using one with windows xp no problem then mouse optical light just stopped working help please

  • If it is a wireless mouse then it requires batteries.

  • In case if the advent mouse is a wired mouse then it doesn't require batteries.

ADE-EMB1 mouse wont work

Mouse might be broke. If you have another computer to check with make sure it does the same things. If if works with other comptuer then there could be software driver problem in the computer.

No light on mouse (ie the laser underneath)

Maybe your laser is very tiny, like mine.

I have an Advent cordless mouse ADE-EMB1 which has suddenly stopped working although it is detected by my laptop.

Try putting brand new batteries in it, if this does not work, you should just buy a new one. When the batteries get weak they can make the mouse start acting strange.

I have an advent ade-emb1 mouse which has stopped working and I can't seem to get it to connect with the laptop again.

I had the same problem and took it back for a refund. However the helpful 'Tech Guy' reset it by pressing the button on the USB, and the little button halfway down the underside of the mouse at the same time. It now works perfectly!!

Advent ADE-AD2 Wireless keyboard and mouse

I've actually just bought a new keyboard and mouse (Today!) because I could not get my advent ade-ad2 to work at all on vista, (Previously had it on my xp).
Thought I'd give it one last try as PC world were no help this morning and previous internet searches were no help either.

Soooo. after the usual on/off...push in little button on underside etc.etc...the only thing that I did different was press the "wake" button on the keyboard.

Bloody hell, it worked!

New keyboard going back tomorrow!

Advent ade-ad2 keyboard an mouse problem

do you have an Infra Red device that is installed on your main PC. Because most laptops have infra Red devices and as well with bluetooth connectivity to function your wireless keyboard and mouse.. Go to my computer icon, right click on it then left click properties then go to device manager then check for additional devices.
