Either power is not getting to the switch-check for an ignition fuse or a fusible link just off the battery-or power is not being transmitted through the switch-in that case, replace the electrical part of the ignition switch.

There should always be a hot wire going to the switch-it is hot at all times, just waiting to be sent somewhere through the switch to run, accessories, or start. First check if you have power to the switch. If not, may need to consult a wiring diagram, but likely a fusible link near the battery has failed.

SOURCE: 1991 Ford Bronco with 5.0

The main fuse block on a 1990 full size bronco will either be under the dash/steering wheel column, bolted to the firewall or under the hood on the passenger side of the vehicle on the firewall. I would also look at the ignition switch.

SOURCE: 1987 ford bronco fuel issues

First thing to check out will be the fuel pump relay under the hood. It is the one who drives the pump, so if it is defective the pump will not work either to prime the engine, or to make it run. Secondly, you need to check if the fuel filters are OK cause sometimes they clog up and prevent enough fuel from reaching the engine. Thirdly, check the injector(s) for cloging, and clean or replace them as needed. If none of this helps, then the problem probably has nothing to do with fuel delivery, and the next step to check will be the whole ignition system, which is also one of the most comon bronco problems.

SOURCE: my 1991 ford Bronco will not automactically kick

being a 91 i am guessing its a EAOD transmission, it is also computer controlled. it could be the adjustment on for the Valve body cable aka kickdown cable needs adjusted or could also be a problem with the computer.

1991 ford bronco fuel pump wont shut off

The fuel pump should turn on for about 3-5 seconds when you turn the ignition switch to on. If the engine starts the pump should still continue to run, if you do not start the vehicle the pump will shut off. It sounds like your fuel pump relay is stuck. Sometimes they will stick on even with the key off. The relay should be located in the relay box, under the hood on the drivers side on the inner fender well. You can try tapping on the relays with a end of a screwdriver, etc. See if that does anything for you. If that doesn;t help I will have to look up some info. Been a while since I had issues with that .

No power to my stearing colom 1991 ford bronco

Your 91 Bronco is equipped with a solenoid relay switch...trace your battery cables to locate this switch...on the positive side, a few inches from the battery on the inner fender...be sure all connections are tight and clean before replacing.

Why dont i have power when i turn my key on in 1991 ford bronco

There are some fuseable link wires between the key switch and the battery. One of these links may have an open circuit.
You would use a test light to trace the main circuits from the battery and starter solenoid back to the key switch.

I have a 1990 ford bronco. ive replaced the battery, starter, and solenoid, but all my truck does when you turn the key is crank but it never starts just cranks over and over. i dont really hear the fuel...

I have a 1990 5.8 liter ford bronco. When engine is cold it will start immediately. Once the engine is warm and driven a short distance. Engine will not restart until engine cools.
