When i turn on my m230 it says something really confusing??
It says "not enough space for Music DB. Please Free 8MB." and when i plug it in to my laptop and try to sync songs to it some fail and when i turn it on to check the ones that "worked" it gives me the same message from above. Any advice?

whenever i turn on my sansa m230 mp3 player, it displays the message, "not enough space for music DB, please free 8mb." And so i plug it into my friends computer and when i open the music folder on the device, its empty, even though it says that there is quite a bit of space used up. Do you have any answers?.
The device needs at least 8MB to build the Music DB (database or GUI).
You need to manually delete some files from the device.
You will need to connect it to the PC and open it in My Computer>Device Name>Music Folder.
Delete a few songs, disconnect and restart the device.
