Do you have any other Turtle Beach headset synced to the same Gaming system (same room) if so that might be the problem it happened with me because my brothers headset was interfering.
Turtle beaches have two important cords to them, your microphone cord goes into your controller, then to get sound you have av adapters. You want to plug in you xbox av sound cords, the white and red ones, into your turtle beach ones. This then should deliver sound. If you use an hdmi cable look on the back of your tv for audio out ports.
Plug in the green and USB jacks to your PC and listen to some music. If both speakers work, then there's nothing wrong with the headset. Contact TB directly if you need help finding out what's wrong with your setup.
If you have an X1 headset...
Try using the X1 headset and mic with your PC (sound card). Green plug goes to green jack, Pink plug goes to pink jack. Can you hear your voice thru the X1 mic on your PC? If yes, then the mic works but the chat-controller cable is probably broken and should be replaced. If no, then the mic may be broken and you should contact Turtle Beach's tech support for help -- [email protected].
This sounds like a broken talkback cable (puck). You can buy a replacement on the Turtle Beach site or contact their support about getting a replacement.
