Bosch Logixx Tumble Dryer not heating

I have a bosch logixx WTA4408/GB01 tumble dryer thats not heating. We have taken the back off to replace the thermostat switch but the part that came didn't have the reset switch on it. However this did not solve the problem. Could the other problem be the heating element as I don't want to order one at the price it is if there is any smaller problem.

Thanks

SOURCE: How do I turn off

We had a similar problem with our Bosch dryer... every now and then when we were using the dryer an alarm would go off and it would stop drying. We checked through the manual and it had no information. Then one day I noticed that there was a flap on the end of the exhaust vent outside the house. As an experiment I propped the flap open so that it never fully closes.  Now we never have the problem with the dryer. I suspect what was happening was that as the dryer was reaching the end of the drying cycle it was pumping out less and less exhaust to the point where it was too weak to open the vent flap, and the build up of exhaust in the ductwork triggered the alarm. I don't know if that's what's causing the alarm with your dryer but its worth checking.

Bosch logixx 10 tumble dryer

This is not a good sign. You should check to see if the door switch is bad. If it is not that then the controller needs replaced.

Bosch Logixx vented dryer not working correctly

I had the same problem.
I took of the cover on the back and found the heating element had blown. I just replaced it for a fraction of the cost of a new drier, just unscrewed it and conected the two wires easily.
