Try to get ahold of a qualified service technician that specializes in washing machines and dryers. My guess is it could either be if its belt driven the belt has broke and the drive motor is turning freely or the drive motor is possibly burnt out or in need of replacement. Its not much but I hope it helps
Hello & Welcome to FixYa If you have already checked the drain pump filter (located inside the bottom front panel) and the drain hose for any blockages, then the problem is with the belt going bad, its either worn out or loose. To check what is bad you have to take it apart and then check the belt, if bad replace it. Please get back to me if you have any other questions. Kevin
My Frigidaire front loading washer is less than 2 years old and YES there is a belt, I am going to replace my 3rd belt this week.....the wheel on the back of the drum has moved enough, even after numberous times of tightening, that it has worn a HUGE hole in the back of the drum from the belts. I will NEVER buy another product from them again, due to not standing behind their product and sending a repair man to my home to fix it, then telling me that I will have to replace the drum....(ltf2940es0).
DISCUSTED WITH FRIGIDAIRE!!!!
I'm not familiar with the particular model, but most of those front loaders there is a trick to getting the belt on. You put the belt auround the motor pulley first then the left side of the larger pulley. Put it on as far as you can get it to go, then hold it in place while you slowly rotate the big pulley clockwise. If you do it right it should "walk" the belt up ont the larger pulley and the tension should be about right assuming you havent moved any idler pullies or the motor. Good Luck!
