When I turn my speakers on for music...only part of the sound comes on. You can hear the music but when the singing comes on you can barely hear it.

This means that only one part of the sound is being transferred. Check the wire to check if its properly in. Also check if any wire is broken or loose. Check the power source too. ;)

My A215 sound system for my dell computer is not working. The power light is coming on fine and everyhtin is plugged in, there is just no sound coming fom them. Im not sure if the driver for it is...

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

Speakers are plugged in but there isn't any sound coming out of the speakers, yet i know the speakers work i tried them on my laptop

Things to check:
  1. Ensure you are plugging into the correct port. Some systems have both integrated audio and and expansion sound card. If it has both, the expansion card should be the port to connect the speakers. Generally all desktops use Green as the speaker jack color.
  2. Ensure the volume control is not muted. Set volume for 75%
  3. Ensure if the audio is integrated, that the audio is enabled in the BIOS
  4. in Control Panel, Sounds and Audio devices, make sure the sound card is the default playback device. Also ensure that Stereo desktop speakers are selected as the speaker tyoe.

I have no sound coming from my speakers, control panel says "no audio device" I know the speakers work, because I plugged them in to a cd player and they work fine

Check that the sound card(if it has one) is properly seated; may have to unplug from MB and plug back in. If it is an integrated MB,sound card is built into MB. Go to control panel; system, audio devices...if you find yellow ? or red x's, click troubleshoot; update driver; uninstall/reinstall from control panel
