Question about RCA DIRECTV Satellite Remote Control
Hi, I have to make several assumptions, That the receiver is not new, that you have current service, and that there was already a card in the receiver. One of my receivers (and I have several) does this all the time. Turn off the receiver,( by the button on top not by unplugging) and pull the card (usually located on the right side of the receiver, looks like a credit card) and stick it back in, now turn it back on. Your message should go away. Good Luck!
