    Hello,

That resolution is covered but it might be that you need to update your video drivers for that motherboard and try again.

Just because that is the resolution that your monitor recommends does not mean that your graphics card is capable of such resolution. It's your graphics card that sets your limit on resolution not your monitor, in this situation anyway.

Go into the refrash rate and change it to something other than what it is you may need to go up or down it depents on the manufacture settings. also they may say the monitor can do it but it cannot do it, drivers are a big factor also.

right click, select the vedio card options, software option for the card, or properties, display options

control panal, open up personalization, diplay settings, advance setting, choose the best option for your needs.

I use intel DG31PR motherboard.. and when i boot again my computer after shutdown it.. my monitor won't display and if it displa.. it stock on the BIOS.. what may cause this kind of Problem?

Try pressing f8 on boot-up and select safe mode.
If you can get into safe mode then all you need to do is decrease your screen resolution in display settings to 640X480 then click apply and reboot the computer. after reboot gradually increase the screen resolution a click at a time until you get it back where you want it at.

Intel dg31pr mother board why dont show display?

First check your num lock led if it on and off when you press num lock key then your cpu is ok.
Then therer is issue with monitor to cpu loose connection
or
Screen resolution problem.
For that when you power up press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode.then go to control panel and dispaly then settings then change screeen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok.
Aslo reconnect connection from monitor to cpu vga port.
Also check in bios some times your harddisk is not detected proeprly.
If problem still remains open cpu cabinet and reconnect data cable and power cable to harddisk.
Refix RAM memory.
Pull cmos cell for 15 minutes then check.
Thanks for using fixya.
Pls rate solution if it help you .

Memory is key element on all motherboards and hard to believe they are all selective of memory . You have the wrong memory for that motherboard . Sorry . Here is list you can select for the motherboard ( only ones that will work with it )

Anything other than what is listed will not work with your motherboard .

1440x900 resolution required

check and make sure that you are using the Intel drivers and not the default windows xp drivers. The default drivers are very limited and only offer a few different resolutions to choose from.
