Question about IBM ThinkPad R40 2722 Notebook
I HAVE TO PRESS FN BUTTON TO TYPE LETTERS ON RIGHT SIDE OF KEYBOARD ON COMPAQ PRESARIO LAP TOP
I have the same problem on my Dell Latitude CPx as what hebert9588 describes. I've been ignoring it for years using an external keyboard but finally tried different things (changing BIOS settings as well as this Fn+F12+NumLk that jackie1969uk describes in http://www.fixya.com/support/t1629106-fuction_botton_stuck_press_fn_button and it's healed! Thank you!

Press the Fn F12 and NumLk keys at the same time and it should turn it off
