The battery is probably bad, this is very common and happens often if the battery is not charged often.  Call peg perego directly for a new battery.

Plugged in charged battery on my century 7004 racing boat and put in water but nothing happens

hi
you need to check the voltage of the battery to ensure that it is charged. (use a voltmeter or multimeter set to an appropriate range according to the expected battery voltage).
if the battery is charged, check all the connections to the battery and inside the machine are firm and secure.
if the battery is not charged, try recharging it again, and recheck, also check the charger is working properly.
hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with fixya
cheers

I replaced my 1997 Jimmy ignition and when I turn the key, nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Go out to the battery, loosen it up, run some sandpaper to get the terminals nice and shiny, on both the battery and the wire connectors, and then tighten them up very well. If that doesn't work, pull the battery out again and get it charged up.

Turn ignition on,nothing happens, battery is fully charged.

How do you know battery is fully charged?? Do you have a load tester or at least a volt meter to test it?? Seriously, the battery may appear to be charged and show 12-13Volts on a meter, but fail when placed under load.

Check also the bolts on the battery terminals.... they may be loose.

Do you get any display on the dash? EWS error??

Just bought my dad a second hand go go 3 wheel elite scooter

Hi Linda. Sometimes if there is a blown fuse or faulty connector on the battery leads, the charger thinks the batteries are charged as the voltage coming out of the charger rises to the high level. Some chargers will cut out if this happens. It is probably not the charger.
Make sure the batteries are plugged in correctly, sometimes during transport they will get knocked and become disconnected.
Also make sure that the battery terminals are not loose where the wires connect to the batteries.
Good luck. Neil.
