Question about Lexmark All-in-One Printer with PictBridge
The pritner works fine as a printer. It will scan and copy, but the copy pritn out is very faint. I'm just trying to make it darker, but can't find any settings anywhere. Anyone got any ideas?
Hi John, Even if you have deleted them by accident, you can always reinstall using the CD that came with the printer/scanner. If you want to do a clean install, then you would probably have to uninstall also the printer drivers and start from scratch. You may also not uninstall and set it up again. If you go this route, it is also possible that you will have two icons in your printer folder of the same hp printer. Assuming nothing is wrong with the hp, the scanner drivers and app would be reinstalled and presumably you will have access now to your copy/scan functions. Should like to download the installer/driver for you printer/scanner, it is available at (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&product=79488&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN). SOURCE: Scanner & Copier doesn't work
If you get this error when trying to scan from the computer try starting the scan directly from the device and see if that works. If not, unplug and replug the USB cable(assuing you are connected to the computer via USB cable) and install the driver, if you get any plug and play prompts. Let me know if this doesn't work.

Hi, have you had any luck repairing this? I also had this problem. I rang Lexmark support who, after 45min on phone, decided to send me a new machine. They did not want the old one back so I intend to try and repair it when I have time. I reckon the x9350 are prone to scan head problems as mine was making strange noises before it packed up and I have seen other reports of problems on various forums.
