Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WD63 Front Load Washer/Dryer

I think the filter is blocked

Even after spinning the machine is half full of water. I am used to the filter being at the front bottom but not on this model.

To make it faster, I will report a good solution from barkencoa, that is one fo our experts.

"Remove rear panel, locate large black hose at right lower side.
Remove securing clip and hose, inside you will see the plastic filter, remove and clean filter, note location of plastic ball.
Refit filter and hose, and securely fasten hose back on.
When you remove hose, watch out for water, as there will be some in the hose.

My LG Tromm front loader has an OE error message and isn't spinning. First received the message during a full load of laundry. Had to drain the water from the hose at the bottom and finally got it unlocked...

OE is normally down to blocked drain pipes, mcalpine (connection under the sink) or a blocked front filter. empty the machine and unscrew the filter behind the flap at the bottom right hand side, check for any obstructions, icoins, hair grips etc are normally blocking here

It could be that the filter is blocked and it is not leaving water out of the machine. Usually on the front of the machine right at the bottom of the front section there is a panel that you can open or pull down, behind this panel is the access to the filter, it should be a round cap facing outwards, turn this anti-clockwise to open and pull out the filter but be aware that there will be alot of water that will come out also so have a towel ready to soak up the excess water. It usually is a colour catcher or even that missing sock that is stuck in the filter. If there is no panel at the front then try looking at the back of the machine.

Washer does not have enough water, and when it spins it doesnt spin enough to get all the water out of the clothes.

a few things to try... the water fill pipe that feeds the machine, check the tap at the end to make sure its on full, if it is then turn water off and unscrew pipe from rear of machine and see if connection on machine is blocked or clogged. then usually located at front of machine at the bottom, unscrew the filter to see if its blocked with small change ( usual suspect ) and try.

WD-J1255C SAMSUNG washing machine is washing but doesn't drain and spin. what could be the problem and possible solution? thanks

Best guess is a blocked filter. If the filter blocks, the machine won't drain and if it isn't drained, then the spin cycle won't kick in.

I'm not familiar with your machine, but chances are that there is a filter door at the bottom of the machine at the front that should be opened, the filter removed and cleaned.

I'm presuming that your machine is half full of water at the moment, so in order to remove the filter and clean it at this stage, you would do well to unplug the machine from the mains and then tip it backwards 45 degrees so that the water doesn't escape when you remove the filter! Best thing is to tip it back onto a chai if you are doing this alone, so the chair can take the weight while you undo the filter.

Now.... IF you are unlucly and have no filter in the front then go take a look underneath while it is tipped back. There will be a rubber hose that leads down to a debris trap, then on to the pump. You will need to unclip the spring clamp that holds this in place in order to get access to the debris inside. PROBLEM here: you are unlikely to do this without getting very wet!

I would suggest in this case, repeatedly putting the machine onto spin cycles, it will attempt to drain the water and slowly, bit by bit it will get the water out. Once it has drained (after attempting to put it through a dozen spin cycles probably) you should then be able to access the filter/debris without getting too wet!

If you do have a filter that is accessible through the small front door I described, I would suggest that you make it a monthly task to remove and clean it at the end of a wash cycle to avoid this issue in the future.

My Kenmore elite he3t is giving me a problem in the spin cycle. Even thought the spin setting is set on high or extra high, the drum turns very slowly and will eventually stop and the washer starts...

The machine will not advance to the high-speed spin cycle unless the water is drained first. The F02 error code manifests this condition as it means draining problem. Either the pump filter is blocked, the drain hose is clogged/kinked, the pressure switch is stuck in the full position, or the pump itself is not working. The display can be cleared by pressing the Pause/Cancel button twice.

Disconnect power and remove the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You can prop up the bottom front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to access and remove the screws more easily.

Once the panel is off, remove the filter by turning the knob counterclockwise. Clean the filter from any debris that prevents water from draining out properly. Click on the link below for further troubleshooting should the cleaning of the filter does not resolve the problem.

My GE washer doesn't drain water.Even after the spin cycle is over, the washer is full of water. Please help.

Either the drain is blocked or your filter is full. Find out where the filter is, usually in front below door or behind panel in front. Clean this out & refit. Plug off the mains first. Check machine filter first & then snake out your drain.

Fo5 is flashing on my washing machine1600 spin 6 kg load.its half full with water please how can i fix it?

Error code F05 is indicating that the water level switch is stuck on full, this is probably due to a blocked filter..
To clean filter, proceed as follows.
Remove lower panel at rear of washer.
Locate and remove the large black hose fastened to the bottom of the tub.
Drain the water from hose into a container of some sort.
Remove plastic filter inside hose, and clean same.
Refit filter and hose, making sure it is securely fastened back on.
This should solve the prob.
Pleas rate my fixya solution.

Hotpoint WMA30 Front Loader Not Pumping Out but still fills if put on rinses, on spin tries but gives up

no easy way to get water out but try putting drain hose down at floor level into a bucket and that may work
fault is probably filter blocked.
to access filter, take rear back panel off. you will see a large diameter hose going from bottom of tub to pump. disconnect this hose at tub end - carefull, water will come out. filter is inside this hose. take it out, clean and reassemble
