If you don't use your printer, just unplug it from your usb port.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

HP PSC 1315 - TROUBLE WITH VERSION 4.2.0 INSTALLATION

Hi -- Hope this helps, it worked for me. Firstly, I strongly suggest you click http://www.revouninstaller.com/download-free-portable.php and save the file, then run the app. The built-in software uninstaller in Windows often leaves garbage behind in folders, files, and the registry that can make future installations fail. REVO is really good at getting rid of ALL of the crap so a clean re-install is possible. The above link is for their totally free portable version -- no crap and you don\'t have to install anything to use it. That said, uninstall all the software, then open your device manager and locate the entry for your device, right-click and select uninstall. DO check the box that says "delete the driver software for this device" so that you will be starting clean. After uninstalling, unplug the USB cable to your device and reboot.
After the reboot, Do NOT plug in the USB cable yet -- First, insert the driver CD and start the setup program. Wait until the software tells you, then plug in the USB cable and continue following the on-screen directions. Once everything installs, it may tell you to reboot, if so, don\'t try using the device until you do. After the reboot (or after the install finishes if it doesn\'t make you reboot) you should be good to go again.
I have had this problem repeatedly when trying to re-install drivers for various HP Products, and this has (so far, anyway) worked for me in XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Good Luck!

Wireless connectiion keep on switching to a not

You need to check first if the wireless switch is turn on.If it is on, check the function key for the wireless. Some computers have function key. Sometimes it is combination of fn and f5. Press those keys at the same time and you should see a pop up window and check if the current status is on. If it is on, uninstall/reinstall the wireless driver in device manager. and restart your computer. If this didn't work. You need to do re installation of your operating system.

Fatalerror message keeps popping up that printer hasnt loaded aaa

Completely uninstall the software then reboot and reinstall. This message is usually the result of a failed or incomplete install, and while it won't affect the drivers, it WILL affect the additional software bundled with the printer. Remember to reboot.

  3. Click the Device Manager button.
  4. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
  5. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.

HP product assistant

I had a similar problem on my desktop Pavilion. This program is just sitting in memory and checking for updates. If your are not worried about getting updates then you can turn it off.

In the RUN box type MSCONFIG and the screen below will appear. Go to the Startup tab and un-check the box for "HPWuSchd2". Click OK to exit. You will need to reboot for this to take effect. (You can always turn it back on if any problems arise).

HP Product Registration pop-up

This is caused by an entry in the Task Scheduler. To get rid of it, you need to be logged on with Administrator priveleges, then do the following:
1. Click Start, type the following in the search field and press enter: Task Scheduler
2. Cllick Continue to confirm permission.
3. Click Task Scheduler Library in the Left column.
4. Click on any of the following in the center column:
a. InternetService Offers (If your pop-up is regarding the internet)
b. Registration (If your pop-up is regarding registering your PC)
c. Service Plan (If your pop-up is regarding warrenty)
d. Extended Service (If your pop-up is regarding extended service plans)

BTW, notice that the idiot that programed these entries set them to trigger every 30 minutes, indefinatly.

Hope this helps.
