Question about Compaq Presario 700 470024-192 Notebook
New batteries usually have to be FULLY charged and discharged several times before they reach their true Amp hour capacity (it depends on how long they have been sitting on the shelf).
Your replacement battery should have the same or greater Amp hour rating than the original battery. This is printed on the labels on the batteries.
