You would have formatted your player in windows.never format your player in windows.just insert your driver cd and press on the recovery option and follow the onscreen instruction your problem will be rectified.after recovering,safely remove your ipod from computer and again restart.then start transfer the mp3 by connecting to comp u will be able to see the music files after unplugging frm system.for further details call me at 09488561892.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player.
For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player. It took me a bit to figure out how to get the music to play. The instuctions that came with it weren't very clear.
* Hold arrow "on" button down to turn on player.
* Use rocker (knob on top) to move to the mode you want. For example, move the indicator to "music".
* Push in on the rocker, not the arrow "on" button to select the music mode.
* Use the rocker to select the song you want to hear, then push arrow "on" button to play.
simply format the player ...in xp using ..format option..if dat dusnt wrk reset the player (theres a reset pin provided.look for it !!) and the prob sud be solved...such probs occur due to fragments in memory and can be reset very easily as suggested above..lemme know if ur prob wuz solved .
well i had same problem try this
1.take all songs to computer (and pictures ,movies)
2.make sure your computer dont shows hidden(needed files) files.. if you are using xp or vista do this controll panel/folder options
3. delete all music,pictures,movies on your mp3/mp4 ( dont delete any thing other!! )
4.pull the music back to it

This is because all of bearshare songs are licensed, so if you are planning on listening to the music on a mp3 player you have to deal with that problem. What tends to fix the problem slightly is using windows media player and ripping the songs from there. Although this only works if the song if offered to be played for a limited time. All locked bearshare songs will not be able to be transfered.
