I bought butter scotch pony used and I dont know where the batteries go, and if it needs a remote to turn him on, can you help me

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

As far as I know they do not have a remote. Try going to Walmart or somewhere that sells them ask for help in the toys dept. they should be able to help. Have you tried the Hasbro website? That might be helpful also. I'm going out later I'll see if I can find your answer too. Best of Luck!

It does not have a remote. Put butterscotch on her side and feel her belly. There should be a velcro flap. Pull this to reveal a plastic box. Unscrew the box and that's where the batteries go.

REPLACED BATTERIES AND STILL DOES NOT WORK

There are a couple of reasons the pony may not work but more information would help. Did the pony word before you replaced the batteries? Some times if you get a new pony (new to you), the batteries in it are old and have corroded. Because the compartment is under the pony, you should probably check and see if the relays and contacts are in good, clean order or if there is corrosion on them. Coke will remove corrosion as will white vinegar. Use a Q-tip. If the contacts are all clean, then you need to check the wiring for a short. You may have to take the fur off to make sure that nothing is broken or touching something metal. Make sure the batteries are installed in the correct order and direction.

Troy bilt pony riding mower

spray some carburetor cleaner in the intake and try to start it if it starts for a few seconds the carburetor is dirty and needs cleaned. put a new needle in it they are cheap and will solve your problem. take the spark plug out and try to start it. if it spins over freely and blows gas out the hole it is the needle in the carburetor. you may want to check the valves, they may be out of adjustment causing hard starting.

Key fob wont work

the battery part just use a flat screwdriver, or if you are like my wife a butter knife, and pop off the back and go get a battery. You should not have to reprogram the remote. I just bought a 98 lincoln and the battery was dead in the remote also and all I did was replace the battery. hope this helps.

Onkyo TX-SR702 remote problem

So what you're saying is you think the receiver is broken because the remote won't turn it on.

Try fresh batteries or another remote that can be programmed for the Onkyo and get back to us.

Key remote

You need to open the remote unit. On the right side and back just ahead of the keyring hole you can place the blade of a "DULL" kitchen butter knife in the groove and carefully twist the blade and the **** shell will pop open. Check the battery holder that wraps around the battery for a bad solder connection to the circuit trace on both sides of the circuit board. It sometimes can be hard to detect. In my family I have had all 4 units fail or go intermittent. NOTE: Remove battery when soldering.
