Any time you upgrade your radio to an aftermarket you have to have the wire harness with it to connect to your dash.

I have a kenwood kdc-mp238 car cd player and i cannot find out how to use or turn on the loud function. Is there any way you can help me or point me in the right direction?

hi your loud function is called bass boost B.BOOST when you press the button it switches between BOOST1, BOOST2, BOOST OFF each time the button is pressed.
go here to see the user manual of your Kenwood for more information.

I hope this helps
