Question about Yamaha HTR-5840 Receiver
Using yamaha htr-5840 amp, bose speakers (surround sound) and a vizio tv. this setup was working yesterday, switched entertainment centers and now when i plugged everything back in, my speakers are buzzing like crazy. is there a setting on the amp that got messed up? is it the speakers connecting to the back of the amp? how do i debug the problem?
Do you have the problem in stereo mode (no suround) Try to disconnect rear speakers and see if you still have the buzzing if you do then disconnect center and check, using only the mains, process of elimination, check your polarity + - on speakers and check the wire.I would double check ALL connections even RCAs
