Question about Denon AVR-3805 Receiver
I'm running audio from my DVD via the digital Coax to the receiver but I'm not getting surround sound. It seems to be sending the same audio signals to the rear speakers as the front ones, just at lower volumes. The receiver does not seem to be separating the channels. The test signals work fine - I get the test sound from all 8 speakers in my set-up.
I have the 3805 with a POA 5200 power amp driving the front speakers (Infinity Overture 3's), a Sunfire True Sub, Infinity Centre Channel and in-walls for the rear and surrounds. The sub is turned up almost to the max but there is no depth to the sound tracks.
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Well as long as all signals are routed through the Denon your on the right track, now what else you have to do is connect all devices to the reciever do not loop one device through another. Also you have to try the different surround fields to hear the one you like the best for music I use 5Ch stereo for movies the surround field varies based on the type of movie
