When was the last time you cleaned the washable filter located behind the front flipup door of the unit? All mini-split systems are notorius for having dust build up on the blower vanes and as it runs it pulls humidity out of the air causing that dust to become like a past e

and changes the angle of attack on the blower cage. Check your filter and take some compressed air and blow it out real good and see if that helps.

It may be that you have a leak. If the compresser ices up along with your indoor coil you could be low on refrigerant. Mini-splits are known to leak at the compression fittings at the back of the indoor unit and outside where the refrigerant lines hook up. Would suggest having someone take a look at it before you do any damage to the unit. What part of the country do you live in that your using the AC in the winter?

Your liquid line, smaller one, should be warmer. There is other things that could be wrong and without seeing it I cant really give you a on the spot answer. You may also have an expansion valve that isnt working properly. I still would steer towards the blower motor though. If bearings are starting to go it could be going out on internal overload until it cools down and then starts back up.

Can a Fujitsu compressor unit be connected to multiple inside evaporator units that have different tonnage ratings. 18,000 BTU compressor and 9,000 & 12,000 BTU evaporator units inside.

call fujitsu engineering division direct and ask them about what is connected and if it works ok
logically as each evaporator has it's own tx valve as long as the compressor is large enough to run all together it should work but get the right information from the fujitsu experts

3 split units run from one compressor one is not cooling

If there is 3 indoor units from one condensing unit
(6 pipes at outdoor unit) this is classed as a multi unit

All units will run correctly as long as they all require same mode, cooling or heating, if one unit decides to heat it will shut down until master unit decides to heat then it will start, for each unit to individually heat and cool there would have to be 3 pipes to each indoor,

Try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset. If you have any other Air Conditioning Repair Questions don't be afraid to let us know

The larger tube is the return tube for the hot freon gas from the evaporator. The small tube is the cold freon after is has gone through the condenser where gas is condensed to a liquid when the heat is removed. So I would say your system is low on freon.

The condensate line attaches to the back of the indoor unit. Usually the flex drain line that comes with the unit clogs with algae. You've got to remove the line and flush it with compressed air or nitrogen and then pour about a cup of clorox bleach down the line to inhibit further growth. Use the clorox twice a year to prevent this from happening again.

Split unit, I get heat but no cold

I have run into this with the LG brand systems. try shutting power off to the outdoor unit to reset all units. If problem persists, it could have to do with a charge level of refrigerant (freon) or possibly a failed control board.
