Those are the screen adjustment controls, most likely they are turned down to low so the tubes wont power up. What happens is when you adjust them the set will continue to operate then when its turned off say overnight the tubes wont come on cause they are set to low, Try turning each of the 3 dials up just a little at a time equally untill the tubes turn on.

Is the volume knob made of plastic or metal?

I checked my Yamaha receiver and the knob is plastic. A cheap plastic knob can be vacuum plated to resemble the metal knobs that were used many, many years ago.

How do you replace the battery in the knob on Moka Sound?

On the knob there is a plastic o-ring. Insert a non sharp tool and pry it until the cap opens. Be careful that some parts will fly around. Remove and replace the batteries while taking care not to loose the spring. Reassemble and remember that the silver part of the metal disc goes towards the 2 electric contacts. To close the knob i used a mallett; i put the knob upside down on the floor and hit the metal screw.

Replacing the drive belt Nordictrack 2900

basically you will be just about to take your treadmill, almost totally apart. But the are not many nuts and bolts to solving your problem, first Lay treadmill on its side and locate the rear roller bolts, on mine their are 2, most tread mills are all the same, remove them 2 bolts, Now locate the front roller bolt, 1 bolt, remove bolt, your belt is going to be very loose now, on the side that you would be walking on, Is a board, 6 phillips head screws, Hold the board to the metal frame, remove them, remove the board, then go back to the rear roller, And remove the plastic end caps that hold the rear roller too the metal frame, by gently tapping them off, remove old belt from rear roller, Now go to front roller, and remove belt from front roller, and its time to Install new Belt, AND AJUST NEW BELT, Put belt on front roller and reinstall roller, put plastic end caps back on frame, and then reinstall rear roller threw the belt and reconnect to the plastic end caps on the rear of the frame, Now reinstall the board with 6 phillip screws, to the metal frame, Now turn treadmill upright again, Its time to AJUST YOUR NEW BELT 1st Center your New Belt, Then tighten rear roller bolts, ( Pay Attention ) Count even amount of turns for both Rear roller bolts, Then Ajust front roller Alignment, Their is only 1 bolt on most treadmills, So if your belt is pulling to one side when you turn the treadmill on,it means you still have to ajust the front roller ajustment screw, What I Do Is , I USE A small leveling tool, For the front roller ajustment, It KEEPS the pitch EVEN on both sides of the front roller, and this is HOW YOU REPLACE YOUR BELT AND AJUST THE NEW BELT, and save your self some money, enjoy, in you need to contact me,

I need to replace the glass display. i have disassembled and removed the screen. how do i remove the lcd from the plastic casing. i do not see any screws it is an hp pavilion dv1000.

There should be little tabs around the bezel of the display. Under those tabs are screws. Don't forget what screws go where for when you get ready to put it all back together.

I have a Sony KP 51WS500. When I turn the TV on, the picture is beautiful. However, after 1-2 minutes, the picture "smears" and I have red horizontal lines everywhere.

Sounds like the red picture tube is acting up, there is a voltage control in the front of the tv have to remove the front bottom cover of tv.Depending on model some have screws along the back side, others have 2 screws on the front at the bottom, usually hidden by plastic disks covering the tops. There are wires attached to the front so carefully remove.should be enough slack to just set aside. There is a small door held on with several screws. remove that and you will see the voltage control. It is a plastic square with 6 knobs. Get a good look at it each tube has 1 focus and 1 screen control you want the screen. sometimes the block is put in upside down so that the right knob will actually be for red, and not blue. slowly turn the control to the left, this will decrease voltage. if you turn too far the set will shut off. if it does just twist knob back the other way and try turning on again. You want to turn just enough to make the lines go away. If they won't go away the tubes are shot. If they do go away it might be only a temp fix, usually tubes cause the problem it's just a question of how bad they are. Good luck!

Sony rear projection tv model KP-53V15 turns on, have sound but no picture, after a while, picture comes on, but later goes out again, picture keeps coming and going. Where do I start looking?

Adjust Screen Volts (G2) of all 3 picture tubes and screen volt control knobs are on focus block located under speaker grills at front of TV.
Remove speaker front grille of TV, look for focus block that has 6 control knobs, 3 knobs are for focus and 3 for screen volts, increase volts by turning little bit control knobs of screen volts and this will solve your problem.

Sony rear projection screen is red then tv shuts off

Can be 1 of 2 things. 1st the red tube just needs the voltage to it turned down. In the front of TV (you have to remove the lower front half of TV to access it) is a plastic square with 6 knobs. The from left to right top knobs control focus for blue, green red. The bottom knobs control voltage to each tube in same order (so lower right knob for red) turn SLOWLY to left to reduce voltage until excessive red and lines go away. If you over turn left or right set will turn off. If that does not fix it or if lines reappear then option 2 is that red picture tube is failing outright and needs replacement.

fisrt remove the front cover assembly, if you go to the back of the set on the sides you will see one plastic knob on each side ,you have to loose those..then you have to pull out the whole piece from side to side(if never done it may sound like if its braking) there are three clips holding itl, once its out you will see the lamp cover on the center part, one plastic knob also, once removed you will see the back of the lamp. reverse the process in you will be fine.

Water won't spay out of the nozzels under front plastic

There are 6 screw, 3 on each side, then the top will come off. When you put it back on, make sure the piston is attached to the bottom of the smart mix knob and that the knob is in the water setting.
