Question about Yamaha RX-V663 Receiver
I have installed all of my video components (tv, blueray, cable), now I want to hook them up to my Yamaha receiver. Can someone help?
The rx-v663 has 2 hdmi inputs, and 1 HDMI Outputs, The way I would run is 1 HDMI in dedicated to the Blu-ray, This will do the audio HD True digital, DTS-HD , then video out to the TV for HD 1080p resolution, On the cable box out do you have an HDMI 1.3? If so sport it to the other available receiver HDMI IN, net the same in/out as the blue ray, minus a 1080p result video which will only happen Blu-ray, cable will result 1080i HD and audio HD will vary with the signal broadcast format.
