ive got no idea wat a pen drive is but if you open the start menu, right click on computer select properties there should now be a window open, on the left of that window there should be some options one of them is device manager, open it and the device (pendrive) will be there with a yellow symbol next to it click on it and it will give you more info and a repair option, hope this helps if you have more trouble get back to me

PEN DRIVE NOT FORMETTED

This situation often comes when you're incorrectly disconnecting the drive (or even worse if you are disconnecting it when the data is copying).
The right way:
point your mouse cursor at the icon with green arrow (at the systray near the clock on the bottom right side of your screen). Press LEFT mouse button and press on the pop-out text: Safely remove USB mass storage device Drive(X:). If you see text on yellow balloon "The 'USB mass storage device' can now be safely removed from the system" you can safely remove it now.
Try to use your pen drive with another computer. Too many humidity or static charge can also damage you pen drive.
Sometimes there's nothing you can do with your pen drive with the situation you've described.

File System of USB Pen Drive

You will not be unable to access your files on other computers because of the file permissions that go along with NTFS. I would recommend Fat32 if you are thinking of using those files everywhere you go, but stick with NTFS if you want the security.

Im not sure why the volume label appears in blue but im pretty sure its not virus related.

System Tray

Try system restore to restore your computer to a previous date. For that click Start- Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore. Click Restore my computer to an earlier time, click next, select a date from the calender ( select a date when ur pen drive was working) and click next twice. The computer will restart automatically. When it starts again, try your pen drive

Pen drive not showing in my explorer.

Its a common problem with the pendrive, in windows. some time it doesnot detect or not showing clearly that device. you have to check your pendrive manufacturer and driver details. and also check it out driver signing.

Do you have mapped network drives on your computer? If you have this may cause your problem. When you insert the PEN Drive into USB and the "safely remove hardware" icon appers try to right-click on it and choose "eject" or "remove" (don't remember :), then pull the PEN DRIVE from the USB and connect it again. Go to Windows Explorer and try to open all your mapped drives, then the content of your PEN DRIVE must be loaded into your Windows Explorer. This is happened sometimes, because PEN DRIVE try to assign the first free drive letter after your phisical drive letters, and if you have a mapped drive letter, the PEN DRIVE assign one of them.
