Question about Toshiba Satellite M30 Notebook

Experts@fixya.com My Toshiba Satellite M30 will power on, but will not turn on screen. The only thing on the screen is a very faint blue colour all over the screen. How can I fix this problem and be able to use my Satellite M30?

Its possible that you have the presentation mode turned on.

press the F5 key and the Fn key together

you might have to do this several times
this should fix the problem. Hope it helps!

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

this is very simple problem just change your boot menu setting by pressing f2 on start up and go to security option and choose ide mode if it is choosed then choose another mode

Switch on wireless key on Toshiba Satellite M30,


Try downloading and reinstalling the drivers for the wireless network adapter. If you have the original disk it should have the driver if not you can download it from the Toshiba site.

Toshiba Satellite L35 screen color turned to pink.


If you have a LCD-screen, not an old-style CRT-screen, it is the data-cable, and its connections, that are not transmitting one of the 3 "primary" colours, e.g., mix red & blue & green to get white,
but mix only two of those colours, and you could get pink,
because the mixing is an "additive" process.

If you mix NONE of the 3 primary colours, you should get BLACK.
If you see GREEN, you're seeing ONE of the primary colours.

have you tried changing the resolution, if not try this power on your laptop press F8 run in safe mode go to device manager an disable your display adapter after disabling reboot windows after rebooting go back to device manager enable display adapter and go display properties an change resolution.
